This book has been written to raise awareness among the water and sanitation sector about the needs of disabled people and other vulnerable groups, and to provide ideas and guidance about how these needs could be addressed with normal water and sanitation programmes and services. The target audience includes planners, water supply and sanitation professionals as well as disabled peoples organisations. The book is focussed on access to domestic water supply and sanitation, either at a household or communal level.
