This assessment tool has been developed to measure the capacity of a home to meet the needs of everyone and to make the home more accessible.The tool is designed to be used by people with some building knowledge. This assessment tool will accredit a dwelling against a set of criteria by giving 'scores' for particular attributes. The criteria are derived from the standards used by the Queensland Dept. of Housing in their Residential Design Manual "Smart Housing'.
