Abstract:

This paper analyzes the building block of smart houses, with particular attention to health monitoring subsystem, by addressing the basic requirements of various sensors implemented from both research and clinical perspectives. Some important issues of the future development of an intelligent residential space with a human-friendly health monitoring function are discussed. The authors have tried to classify the reported smart houses according to their design and the home installed technologies in them. Includes illustrations of various models and systems. A list of websites mentioned in the paper is included in the appendix.
