Abstract:

Staying On Your Feet is an important part of the Falls Prevention Project of the Central Sydney Health Promotion Unit. This project began in March 1990 and was made possible by funds provided by the Commonwealth Dept. of Health, Housing and Community Services. This book is intended to make older people aware that falls and their consequent injuries can become a health problem. It provides information on the known causes of falls and gives suggestions on what to do about them.
