Restoring flood-damaged houses.

BRANZ Bulletin

Author: BRANZ,
Year: 1993
Type: Journal Article

Abstract:

The repair procedures outlined in this bulletin assume that the house, after the flood has receded is structurally sound. If structural damage has occurred, repairs must be sanctioned by the local authority by obtaining a building consent. If a house is structurally unsound, either temporary repairs must be carried out to make it sound before undertaking cleaning -up work or the house must be left as it is until its future is decided.
