The Residential Design Requirements deal with standard housing requirements applicable to all types of public housing. They state the requirements for adaptable housing and explain the requirements for provision of housing for clients with special needs. The 'adaptable' housing requirements are simply good design principles and a commonsense approach to accommodate the housing needs of a changing population.
