Abstract:

This useful resource was produced to support minor modifications services in providing modifications to the homes of frail aged people and younger people with disabilities in order to maximise their safety and independence. The aim of this book is to provide information to HACC-funded home maintenance services, and other minor modifications services, as they endeavour to meet the minor home modification needs of rural clients. A particular focus of this resource is the effective use of limited occupational therapy services to ensure that modifications are cost-effective and appropriate to clients.
