Performance, mood, and health during exposure to intermittent odors

Archives of Environmental Health

Author: Knasko, S. C.
Type: Journal Article
Year: 1993

Abstract:

This study tested the effects of intermittent bursts of pleasant, unpleasant odors on human task performance, mood and percieved health care. The results of this study indicate that exposure to ambient odors does not necessarily affect performance, mood, or health even under conditions known to produce large effects for other stimuli.
