Abstract:

This study examines how multisensory environments improve the well-being of older individuals with dementia. A Snoezelen and a landscaped garden were used for this project. Through observations and interviews , the study identified the components of the environments most used and enjoyed by residents and the ways in which they could be improved to maximize well-being.
