Author: Lines, L., Hone, K. S.

Abstract:

Millennium Homes is a project based at Brunel University in the U.K. The project aims to develop technology, which combined with a network of voluntary carers, will allow older adults to remain living independently in their own homes for longer. This paper documents how the authors addressed the methodological challenges presented when determining user requirement specifications for the system employing a user centred design approach.
