This study was done to determine if and how kitchen designers are meeting the needs of mature clients (aged 50 and over) who have now or may later acquire age-related physical impairements. The study addresses the design features and adaptations , the kitchen designers are recommending to accomodate the mature clients existing or potential special needs. Includes designers recommendations for kitchen appliances, kitchen work areas, and recommendations related to reduced grip strength and low vision.
