Abstract:

The research objective of this study was to look the costs of community-based care as well as the short-term changes to these costs for a cohort of elders. The authors looked at factors related to changes in cost to gain insight that can help predict future resource use. A subsample of elders who were in the upper quartile of costs was examined.
