Abstract:

Appendices A -F for the report on a project supported by AHURI (Australian Housing and Urban Research Institute) as part of its program of research into housing and urban development. The appendices include the literature search procedures and the Illustrative education and labour market studies. The project has reviewed housing assistance programs around the world. It has covered programs that have provided income support to renters; it has covered in kind, assistance provided through direct provision of housing; it has covered regeneration or urban renewal programs; it has covered home ownership programs; it has surveyed the evidence available on the impact of these different forms of housing assistance on a range of non-shelter outcomes.
