This study represents an attempt to obtain client evaluation of services rendered in face-to-face encounters between service providers & their older clients is discussed. Evaluation of the encounter was made by the client, service provider, & an observer. Uniform client satisfaction was found, independent of service provider or observer evaluations. Specific reasons for the lack of variance in client evaluations are provided & policy implications are discussed.
