Abstract:

These advisory notes were developed by the Disability Discrimination Commissioner to inform people who are responsible for new or proposed premises about the responsibilities and rights under section 23 of the Disability Discrimination Act. Section 23 of the DDA makes it unlawful to discriminate against people with a disability in relation to access to and use of premises that the public enter or use.
