Christophersen provides an overview of developments in universally designed housing in Norway over forty years. He explains the reasons for relatively slow progress in this field. As a solution to this challenge, he suggests an approach creating efficient, rational and praticable performance for universal design. Access, entry, bathroom, kitchen and outdoor spaces are discussed and illustrated.
