This article draws on the author's experience of discrimination at work, as well as an advocate with Disabled Peoples' International (Australia) who has utilised the Act in advocacy concerning large organisations. This article explores of the author's experiences in using the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 and draws out some issues for people with disabilities and the wider community.
