Abstract:

This article is a court decision from the Anti-Discrimination Board form a case between Kevin Cocks and the State of Queensland. The Board found in favour of the Plaintiff, Mr. Cocks. The reason for the suit was the State of Queensland had failed to make the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre had failed to construct disability access points such as ramps, elevators, public toilets, wide doorways and accessible seating despite promises to do so.
