In 1999 the DTI embarked on a three year campaign involving publicity, research into falls and production and distribution of a variety of resource materials to support those active in the field of falls prevention. The campaign's slogan was 'Avoiding slips, trips and broken hips'. The booklet provides some simple steps to follow in order to avoid falls.
