Author: Dawkins, D., Cusack, D.
Year: 1993
Type: Book

Abstract:

This publication is the New South Wales edition of the national home building manual written in plain English. It sets out all the relevant technical and administrative requirements and includes practical examples and guidance on a wide range of design and construction matters. The NSW edition incorporates amendments to state legislation, where appropriate, but more importantly includes extensive information on the NSW Local Goverment Act, 1993. The technical sections have been extensively revised to include reference to recent Australian Standards such as AS 1684 - National Timber Framing Code and AS 4055 - Wind loads for Housing. The manual has been written and compiled by experts with considerable practical experience in the industry.
