Abstract:

This booklet is designed to bring together the various elements of the Americans with Disbilities Act Accessibility Guidelines (ADAAG) that are relevant for people with impaired vision. These guidelines apply to new construction and are incorporated in the Dept. of Justice regulations of July 26, 1991 and the Dept. of Transportation regulations of September 6, 1991. This booklet does not include the proposed Title II Accessibility Guidelines for state and local government facilities since they have not been finalised as of this time.
