Second stimulus package - what’s in it?

The Federal Government has announced a second economic stimulus package worth $189 billion over the next three years. What’s in it to help you get through? Let’s take a look.

The package has five measures that help seniors:

  • a cut to deeming rates
  • a halving of the minimum superannuation drawdown rate
  • a second $750 one-off payment to households
  • increased income support for jobseekers
  • early release of superannuation.
