What’s happening in Enabling (Better Practice Update: Spring 2012), and the Evaluation Report on the Enabling Pilots.
Attached is the latest edition of the Better Practice newsletter (Summer 2012) titled “What’s happening in Enabling”. The newsletter provides a summary of the findings of the evaluation of the Enabling Pilots.
The evaluation of the Enabling Pilots (aka Better practice Demonstration Projects) has been completed. The Enabling Pilots ran from 1 July 2010 to 31 December 2011. Over 200 individuals participated in the pilots across 4 sites (2 located in the Sydney metro area and 2 located in regional areas). The Pilots involved an eight to 12 week multidisciplinary intervention, based on a goal-oriented assessment and the implementation of flexible strategies to assist clients to reach their individual goals.
You can access a copy of the evaluation report as well as other Enabling related information and resources from The BPP page at www.adhc.nsw.gov.au/bpp.
Hard copies of both the evaluation report and newsletter will be available from February 2013 through your local HACC development officer or HACC training officer. Or you can order hard copies of the report, newsletter and other Better Practice materials through the BPP mailbox. Just email .
This edition of the newsletter includes a Supplement (also attached) on “What’s happening in Enabling awareness raising and training”. This supplement lists some of the awareness raising and training opportunities (sessions and workshops) that are currently available, as well as those planned for 2013.
This edition of the newsletter also includes information on the “Activating Enabling” Forum, to be held at the Australian Technology Park on 21 February 2013.
