Updates for CHSP service providers

Published

Changes to CHSP Program Manual

The department has recently revised the CHSP Program Manual 2020-2022. Copies of the revised sixth edition and a companion document outlining the changes are now available for download from the department’s website.

Some of the changes include revisions, clarifications and additional information about first aid certification, police checks and the delivery of Sector Support and Development.

Carrying forward unspent grant funding into 2021‑22

To help CHSP service providers continue and expand the delivery of key services and adapt service delivery to better meet the needs of senior Australians during the pandemic, the department has approved the carry forward of all unspent funding from 2020-21 into 2021-22. In addition to ongoing CHSP base funding, this carry-over includes any unspent funding allocated through:

  • CHSP Emergency Support for COVID-19 (GO3877)
  • CHSP Ad Hoc (GO4265)
  • CHSP Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Respite Growth Round (GO4552)
  • CHSP Targeted Growth Funding 2020-21 and 2021-22 (GO3632)

For more information about the above changes, please contact your Community Grants Hub Funding Arrangement Manager.
