The Practice Improvement Framework (PIF) is one of the long term systemic solutions developed by Clinical Innovation and Governance to improve work practice in specialist behaviour support within the government and non-government disability sector.

The Positive Approaches to Behaviour Support Core Standard is a self-paced e-learning course. In addition to this, practitioners have the opportunity to apply the concepts through Work Practice Support or Professional Supervision over a twelve month period utilising an Appraisal process. Following on from the Positive Approaches to Behaviour Support Core Standard are six Extension Skills Topics and a number of Advanced Skills Topics.

Target Group All ADHC and NGO staff who are in the role of behaviour support practitioner or are providing specialist behaviour support services are encouraged to complete the Core Standards modules.
