Terms of Reference for a Royal Commission into Violence, Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation of People with Disability.

Published

The Royal Commission will focus on what governments, institutions and the community should do to prevent, and respond to, violence, abuse, neglect and exploitation of people with disability.

The Royal Commission will hear from people with disability who have experienced violence, abuse, neglect or exploitation. It will help ensure their rights are protected and inform how to improve the safety and treatment of all people with disability, no matter where they live in Australia.

It's essential that people with disability have input into the Terms of Reference.  You can have your say on the Terms of Reference via a public survey. The survey closes on Thursday, 28 March 2019.
