Survey on the NCC and performance-based design

ABCB is inviting property developers, building owners and education providers to participate in an online survey.

The survey is about the NCC and its compliance pathways, specifically relating to the use of Performance Solutions.

ABCB would like to gain insights into the attitudes and behaviours of property developers, building owners and education providers about the level of uptake and use of performance-based design. In addition, we would like to understand ‘what it would take’ to make the Performance Solution compliance option more widely considered. We are also keen to understand how the Australian Building Codes Board (ABCB) can help raise awareness and build capacity around performance-based design in the industry.

The responses received from this survey will be used to inform future work by the ABCB related to the use of Performance Solutions.

The survey will take approximately 10 minutes to complete and closes COB Monday 21 May 2018 (AEST).
