Travel grants to assist those with limited means visit Sargood on Collaroy health and wellness resort, have been launched by the Sargood Foundation. The resort provides purpose-built, accessible accommodation and services for people living with spinal cord injury.
A total of 24 travel grants, each worth up to $500, are available to provide travel assistance to people living with spinal cord injury and their carers when they visit Sargood on Collaroy.
Foundation executive director, Susan Johnston said in most circumstances accommodation and care is covered by insurance, but in some cases, transport is not.
