Report on ‘three strikes’ policy for tenants in social housing released

Published

A report on issues facing tenants in social housing who suffer from mental health and substance abuse problems has been released by The Queensland Mental Health Commission.

The Commission engaged UQ’s Institute for Social Science Research (ISSR) to conduct the research and write the report, ‘Review of systemic issues for social housing clients with complex needs’.

This report examines the impact of the Queensland Government’s Anti-social behaviour (ASB) management policy on social housing tenants with mental health difficulties and substance abuse problems.
