Release of updated Allied and Mental Health Fee Schedules to implement new telehealth consultations

Please be advised that updated allied and mental health fee schedules that allow for telehealth consultations to all DVA clients will go live on the DVA website by COB today.  Please note:

• Items are only claimable for treatment provided by telehealth from 1 April until 30 September 2020 (except for allied mental health, which have had telehealth items available since 13 March 2020 for people vulnerable to COVID-19).
• Phone consultations can only be provided when video conferencing is unavailable.
• COVID-19 telehealth services are considered a consultation under the treatment cycle requirements and referral requirements remain in place.
