Providers share COVID outbreak lessons

It is critical to know and understand your staff, reinforce infection control messages, implement tools to easily identify residents and their needs and have clear instructions for food services, say Victorian aged care providers that experienced a COVID-19 outbreak.

The Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission has published a report of the key takeaways and lessons learned of 34 aged care providers who experienced an outbreak in at least one of their residential services in Victoria.
