One-off Funding Available for CSP and YPIRAC Participants

Attention to all funded service providers working with eligible Community Support Program (CSP) and Younger People in Residential Aged Care Program (YPIRAC) participants under 65 years of age.

One-off brokerage funds are still available to eligible CSP and YPIRAC
participants.

This is a great opportunity to acquire one-off supports and equipment necessary to support independence, safety or wellbeing arising from their disability ahead of the NDIS implementation.

The brokerage funds are intended for the following items:

  • Aids and equipment
  • OT Assessments
  • Manual Handling risk assessments and training in equipment use
  • Other assistance with WHS and service delivery efficiencies
  • Small Home Modifications under $10,000 (subject to OT assessment)
  • Management of immediate risks

There will be a general limit up to $10,000 per application.

Approval will be based on the Individual Funding Handbook principles.

Requests for amounts greater than $10,000 will be considered on a case by case basis by the CSP Panel. The CSP Panel and/or delegated officer will not approve applications where retrospective reimbursement is requested. However, in situations where the item(s) are required urgently, written
approval for reimbursement must first be provided by the CSP and/or YPIRAC delegated officer.

Requests are made on the CSP Brokerage Funding Request Form.
Applications will be received and processed up to the end of December 2016.
