New retirement living quality standards proposed

If you've ever wanted to improve the quality of the retirement housing sector, then this invitation will be of interest.

The Property Council of Australia and Leading Age Services Australia are seeking feedback from residents, industry and other stakeholders on proposed new accreditation standards for the sector - in other words, how retirement villages are assessed for quality of services and support for residents.

The Council says the Australian Retirement Village Accreditation Scheme (ARVAS) draft standards have been designed to be a practical and relevant tool for retirement village operators who want to demonstrate a real commitment to operating their villages in a high quality and consistent way.
