You can find all of these resources at: www.ndis.nsw.gov.au

NDIS information for Aboriginal people

  • Four new fact sheets have been developed in addition to the NDIS for Aboriginal people with disability in NSW (Fact sheet 1), they are:
  • Yarnin’ about disability (Fact sheet 2)
  • What is the NDIS? (Fact sheet 3)
  • Getting ready for the NDIS (Fact sheet 4)
  • Accessing the NDIS (Fact sheet 5)
  • These Aboriginal fact sheets are a start in supporting our Aboriginal people and communities to begin the conversations around disability and what the NDIS may mean to them and their families.

The NDIS encourages you to share these resources with your clients, their families and carers as well as your staff to help them prepare for the NDIS in NSW.
