NDIS seeking Feedback for New Participant Portal

Published

The NDIS is building a new participant portal after participant feedback highlighted accessibility issues are not meeting the necessary standards for use. Following initial consultation from participants to kick start the process, the NDIS wants to hear further from participants to make the portal better as this will eventually replace the current ‘myplace’ portal.

As a result, the NDIS is is looking for participants, nominees and child representatives in using and giving feedback on the an early demo version of the new NDIS participant portal by using the new portal as they build it whilst providing regular feedback and participating in small focus groups.

To participate, the NDIS have outlined the following eligibility criteria:

  • be an NDIS participant with a current plan, or are a nominee or child representative for a current NDIS participant
  • have a computer or tablet device and internet access
  • have an active email address only you can access and mobile phone, are happy to give us this information and use it to log in to the new portal
  • be able to use the new portal from late October for about six weeks.

The NDIS notes they’re committed to using the valuable feedback to finish building the new portal before releasing it to all NDIS participants next year.
