NDIS information sessions – Canberra

The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) is running information sessions for allied health and nursing practitioners, local health district staff, community health staff, support coordinators and service providers who are delivering disability-related health supports under the NDIS.

The sessions will cover:
Implementation of the Disability Reform Council decision
How supports will be included in participants’ NDIS plans
Reasonable and necessary decisions for support categories

There will also be an opportunity, both during and after the session, to ask any questions.

Places are limited and RSVP is essential. For accessibility, interpretation or other requirements advise when registering and note it is necessary for a minimum of five business days’ notice to book Auslan interpreters.

The event will be held at the Hellenic Club, Woden on February 24, 2020.
