The Productivity Commission is reviewing the costs of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). On the 22 Feb 2017, it released its issues paper. The 'issues paper' covers a range of issues on which the Commission seeks information and feedback, and is intended to assist you in preparing a submission.

Submissions are due by Friday 24 March 2017.
The full study will examine issues including: the sustainability of scheme costs; jurisdictional capacity (including the complementary disability services provided by the States and Territories); cost pressures (including wage pressures); changes in the agreed escalation parameters; whether efficiencies have been achieved within the scheme; whether there has been any impact on mainstream services; and examine the most appropriate levers to manage any potential cost overruns.
