My Aged Care website enhancements

Changes are planned to the My Aged Care website during the follwoing days. The updates include a new homepage and simpler navigation across the website to guide users through the steps to accessing aged care services.

The project was informed by a co-design process involving extensive feedback from users as well as sector stakeholders representing:

• senior Australians, their families and carers
• service providers
• health professionals
• aged care assessors

The department of Health is also working to resolve other issues experienced by service providers. Information products are being developed on:

• how to navigate the client record
• understanding what support channels are in place
• timeframes for complaints and escalations.
