The Fall Prevention Center of Excellence (FPCE) Creates Virtual Model House for Home Modification – Seeks Images Have photos of home modifications you would like to share? The FPCE, with support from a private donation, is developing a virtual demonstration home online that professionals, older adults, and their family members can use to learn about environmental fall hazards and home modifications. This user-friendly virtual home will have photos of rooms from actual homes with potential hazard areas and possible solutions highlighted. When the user clicks on each hazard, it will bring up photos of a variety of home modifications with accompanying information. A disclaimer will be included. The Center is seeking photographs to include in the virtual home web site that feature properly installed home modifications and reflect a range of settings, needs, and decors that may appeal to a broad audience. Contributors of chosen photos will be credited with an agreed-upon credit line. Criteria include:• Images must be 1224px (width) minimum and 72dpi or higher• Images must be of good quality (e.g., good lighting, in focus)• Images will be reviewed by a panel of experts that will determine if they are appropriate for the website• Permission of person residing in home must be assured prior to submission, whereupon USC will provide Permission Form for signature If you have photos that might be a good fit, or any questions, please contact Emily Nabors at or 213.740.1364 Thank you for your consideration!
