Researchers at UNSW Sydney (The University of New South Wales) and GWA Caroma are seeking volunteer research participants to learn about the space requirements of public accessible washbasins for wheelchair users.

Would the research study be a good fit for me?
The study might be a good fit for you if you’re;
• use a wheelchair for community access;
• 18+ years of age;
• live within 25km of UNSW, and
• are able to independently use a washbasin.

What would happen if I took part in the research study?
If you decide to take part, you would attend a test session at UNSW Sydney where you will;
• participate in a face-to-face interview about your washbasin experiences and opinions,
• have a series of body measurements taken, and
• perform simulated tasks at an adjustable washbasin set to varying heights and depths.
The session will take approximately 3 hours to complete.

Will I be paid to take part in the research study?

Participants will receive a gift card as compensation for time and contribution and as an incentive to overcome barriers.

Who do I contact if I want more information or want to take part in the study?
If you would like more information or are interested in being part of the study, please contact:
Name: Kimberley Andersen
