INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON INTELLECTUAL AND DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES 2011

Theme : Growing with Hope and Dignity

A psychological, medical, educational, training, occupational and social perspective on improvements for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities; bringing together from the world self-advocates, families, trainers, professionals, academicians, researchers, policy makers and friends.

Plenary Session Speakers:

  2. Ms Karen Gaffney (has Down syndrome), President of the Karen Gaffney Foundation,USA
  3. Ms Sue Rickell (has Cerebral Palsy), Director of Allies in Change Disability Equality Consultancy, UK
  4. Mr Ted Kunzt, parent of a severely disabled child, psychotherapist and author of Peace Begins With Me, Canada
  5. Ms Aiko Akiyama, representative of United Nations ESCAP (Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific)
  6. Dr Kenji Kuno, Senior Advisor of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA)
