Housing delayed and denied: NDIA decision-making on Specialist Disability Accommodation funding

A report published by the Public Interest and Advocacy Centre (PIAC) and Housing Hub discussing the increasing number of people requesting SDA funding from the Nastional Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) who have received decisions not aligning with their needs and preferences. 

The PIAC and Housing Hub commenced a collborative project in mid-2021, providing legal help to participants seeking reviews of NDIA decisions about SDA funding at the Administrative Appeals Tribunal. This report presents early findings in relation to the project.
