On the ABC Science Show presented by Robyn Williams the Home Modifications rising star and newly minted Doctor presented her PhD findings. Phillippa Carnemolla an Industrial designer has been investigating the relationship between housing and health. The addition of ramps, handrails, or updated bathrooms can often allow people to stay in their homes as they age. Simple inexpensive home modifications can lead to greater independence, better relationships, and a richer quality of life.
