Have your say on changes to the NDIS

We recently released four consultation papers about how we plan to improve access, planning and plan flexibility, and how we support young children and their families.
We invite you to have your say on these changes to make sure the NDIS works for everyone.
The consultation papers are:

  • Access and eligibility policy for independent assessments
  • Planning policy for personalised budgets and plan flexibility
  • Supporting young children and their families early, to reach their full potential
  • Early Childhood Early Intervention (ECEI) Implementation Reset- Project Consultation Report

Visit the Have your say page on the NDIS website to find more information, copies of the papers (including Easy Read versions).

There are a number of ways you can give feedback:

Feedback closes at 10.00am ADST Tuesday 23 February 2021.

Request for tender: Participant Engagement Panel

We are establishing a Participant Engagement Panel that will allow us to further listen to the voices of participants and help shape future NDIS improvements.

The Panel aims to better connect us with those voices that aren’t always heard from harder to reach disability communities. We believe that our policy, strategy, service provision, and research and evaluation will be improved through its use.

We’re inviting organisations who have experience with and understanding of disability communities to submit their application to become part of the panel.

The Panel, which will be determined by an open market tender, demonstrates our commitment to going beyond hearing from those most willing and able to share their experiences.

This is an addition to our current Participant First Engagement Initiative, where we connect directly with participants, families and carers to get your ideas on creating a better participant experience.

Learn more about the tender.
