The Home and Community Care program have released a Home Modifications Fact Sheet. This fact sheet contains information about home modifications in a clear and easy to understand format. Modifications for the purposes of Accessibility, Adaptability and Universal Design are discussed. Why people need home modifications, the sorts of modifications that may be required in a home, eligibility for and installation of modifications, including cost, are all discussed.
