Government announces coronavirus emergency response strategy

Published

The Australian Government has enacted a coronavirus emergency response plan and the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) is taking necessary steps to prepare if a pandemic is declared.

For NDIS participants concerned about possible exposure to coronavirus, the Department of Health has a specific hotline to respond to enquiries: 1800 020 080.

Those who are deaf or have a hearing or speech impairment, can use the National Relay Service to access any of the department’s listed phone numbers. Visit the National Relay Service website or call 1300 555 727.
