Google’s latest technology for people with cognitive disability

Google has launched Action Blocks, an Android app for people with limited mobility with customisable home screen buttons that make it easier for doing routine tasks such as controlling smart home devices, playing videos and sending text messages.

Google is also beefing up its map options to identify accessible locations with ‘Accessible Places.’ When it is switched on, a wheelchair icon will indicate whether or not the destination has accessible access and seating, restrooms or parking.
