A new online course will train aged care staff to recognise pain in those who can’t always communicate for themselves.
Dementia Training Australia (DTA) has partnered with creators of the PainChek® app to develop the course. The Australian Government funds DTA to provide dementia education and training across Australia.
The 1.5 hour course covers three modules:
behaviours of pain
undertaking pain assessments with the app
using the app confidently and competently.
Further information is available on the DTA website, including a link to the course.
