Essentials for Smart Devices

The use of technology and systems across the Care Sector is rapidly increasing and continuously changing. Workers are not always confident with technology which creates barriers to the adoption of apps and processes.

This course is designed to increase knowledge, skills and confidence, so that the care workforce can comfortably move between smart device platforms and devices. This leads to independence and the ability to better troubleshoot, problem solve and efficiently use their smart devices.

• Understanding smart devices and platforms
• Starting with smart device basics and terminology
• Settings and accessibility
• Cyber safety and security
• Managing apps - downloading, cost, access and maintenance.
