EOI to participate in Single In-Home Care Program data study

Published

The department is seeking Expressions of Interest from Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP), Home Care Packages (HCP) program, Short-Term Restorative Care program (STRC) and residential aged care providers to participate in a data study about the new Single In-Home Care Program.

50 in-home aged care providers and eight residential aged care providers across Australia are needed to help inform the development of the Assessment, Classification, and Funding (ACF) model which will underpin the new Single In-Home Care Program.

In November 2019, the Australian Government announced its intention to establish a Single In-Home Care Program to deliver a seamless system of care, delivering timely and flexible services that are tailored to consumer needs. This program will replace the CHSP, HCP and STRC programs, as well as potentially adding new services to the program scope.
